A Day of Adventure at Wallace State Park

Pack 337 families gathered at Wallace State Park last weekend for a day full of fun and fellowship. Groups headed out on hikes, Scouts worked on crafts, and yard games kept everyone busy. Paper rockets were a huge hit again, with launches continuing from the opening flag ceremony until sunset!

The day also gave Scouts a chance to work on adventure requirements. They hiked, practiced setting up tents, and learned about caring for critters along the way.

Dinner was a highlight. The burgers and hot dogs were some of the best food we’ve had at a campout. A big thank-you to Ian Adams for cooking and for planning such a great day for our families.

With stormy weather moving in Saturday night, we decided to send everyone home instead of staying overnight. The Scouts still squeezed in flashlight games, campout popcorn, and treats before heading out.

Thank you to every family who joined us at Wallace State Park. We hope the weather cooperates for our next campout, and families will have another chance to camp together at the district campout in a couple of weeks!
